As part of our clinical team, you will provide specialized care to patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and trauma. Your day-to-day responsibilities will typically involve assessing patient needs, administering medications and treatments, monitoring recovery progress, and collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of safety and clinical excellence.
Key responsibilities for the Orthopedic Trauma RN position include:
- Delivering compassionate, patient-centered nursing care tailored to orthopedic trauma patients.
- Monitoring vital signs, wound healing, and pain management strategies.
- Educating patients and their families on post-operative care and rehabilitation expectations.
- Participating in unit-based councils and quality improvement initiatives to advance nursing practice.
- Maintaining accurate and timely electronic health records.
This position offers a salary of $95,554 per year.
