In this role, you will play a vital part in patient care by assisting physicians using X-ray equipment, specifically the C-arm, during the performance of various interventional pain procedures.
This full-time position is located at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, with a convenient weekday schedule operating Monday through Thursday.
Key responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Operating fluoroscopic and X-ray equipment safely and effectively to assist physicians during interventional pain management procedures.
- Ensuring proper positioning of patients and equipment to obtain optimal imaging while maintaining radiation safety standards.
- Preparing procedure rooms, equipment, and necessary supplies prior to patient arrival.
- Collaborating closely with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care.
- Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation related to imaging and procedures performed.
Minimum qualifications for the Radiologic Technologist position include:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program with the completion of all required clinical hours.
- Experience: No prior experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for qualified graduates.
- Licensure and Certification: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice, along with appropriate professional registries.
The annual salary for this full-time position is $66,713.
