In this role, you will work within a fast-paced urgent care clinic setting, providing quality care for patients aged 6 months and older. The anticipated patient volume is approximately 3 to 5 patients per hour. To ensure success in this position, you will be expected to utilize your clinical expertise and technical skills to manage a variety of walk-in and acute care medical needs.
Key responsibilities and required skills for the position include:
- Treating a diverse patient demographic starting from 6 months of age
- Performing routine urgent care procedures including suturing, wound care, incision and drainage (I&Ds), and splinting
- Interpreting diagnostic tests such as X-rays and ECGs
- Performing IV placements as required by patient clinical needs
- Maintaining accurate assignment details and timely time entry in the online system
