As an RN Ortho Trauma, you will be at the forefront of our commitment to the care and improvement of human life. In this specialized nursing role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality patient care tailored to individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and traumatic events. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor recovery progress in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for orthopedic and trauma patients.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
- Monitoring patient vital signs and clinical status, promptly reporting any significant changes.
- Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Educating patients and their families regarding post-treatment care, injury prevention, and rehabilitation expectations.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic health records in accordance with hospital standards.
