Safety-Kleen is currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused Driver Class A to join the team for a full-time opportunity located in the East View, Westchester County area. In this role, you will play a vital part in environmental services by safely transporting used hazardous and non-hazardous materials utilizing tanker trucks, traveling from local branches back to our oil terminal for storage and preparation for re-refining.

We value our driving professionals and offer a competitive salary range of $60,608 per year, with hourly rates typically ranging between $29 and $31 based on your level of experience.
Key responsibilities for this position typically include:
- Operating Class A tanker trucks to transport materials efficiently and safely
- Adhering strictly to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the transport of hazardous and non-hazardous materials
- Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Loading and unloading materials in accordance with established safety protocols
- Maintaining accurate driver logs and documentation for all completed routes
- Communicating effectively with dispatch, branch personnel, and facility staff
