Join the RAC as a Superflex Roadside Mechanic based in St. Mary Cray, Orpington. Flexibility deserves recognition, and in this full-time role, you will provide the adaptability that our roadside assistance service relies on.
As a Superflex Patrol Roadside Mechanic, you will be responsible for attending to breakdowns, diagnosing vehicle faults, and carrying out roadside repairs to get our members safely back on the move. You will manage your workload efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service during what can often be a stressful time for motorists.
Key responsibilities and details of the role include:
- Delivering reliable roadside mechanical assistance, diagnostics, and repairs for various vehicle makes and models.
- Thriving outside of a traditional 9-to-5 schedule by working flexible shifts averaging 40 hours per week across the year.
- Receiving your work roster seven days in advance, with your core working hours confirmed three days prior to your shift.
- Representing the RAC brand with a professional, customer-focused approach at every breakdown scene.
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and vehicle maintenance while on duty.
