We are currently looking for a dedicated professional to cover the Portsmouth area, operating out of Langstone, Havant. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering the unique convenience of starting and finishing your working day right from your own driveway.
In this role, you will be the face of the RAC, providing roadside assistance and expert mechanical diagnosis to motorists in need. Your daily responsibilities will typically involve attending vehicle breakdowns, identifying mechanical and electrical faults, and working efficiently to get our members safely back on the road or arranging onward travel when necessary. You will manage your workload professionally, maintain high standards of customer service, and ensure all mobile equipment and tools are kept in safe working order.
To be successful in this position, candidates must hold a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and possess at least 2 years of hands-on automotive repair experience. A strong customer-first attitude, problem-solving skills, and a valid UK driving licence are essential for success in this mobile environment.
