Amazon TA is seeking a dedicated and proactive Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to join the team on a full-time basis in Broadfield, Crawley. As an RME Technician at Amazon, you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of equipment and workspaces while strictly upholding Health and Safety best practices. Your daily efforts will directly contribute to keeping your colleagues safe, preventing unexpected machine downtime, and boosting the overall availability and quality of our equipment to enhance the working environment.
In this dynamic role, your day-to-day responsibilities will typically include:
- Carrying out routine preventative and corrective maintenance on a variety of material handling equipment and automated machinery.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving mechanical and electrical equipment faults swiftly to minimize operational disruption.
- Adhering closely to all company Health and Safety policies, procedures, and statutory regulations to ensure a safe workplace.
- Collaborating with operations teams and fellow technicians to improve equipment reliability and operational flow.
- Documenting maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately within the internal systems.
