THE ICONIC is seeking an Established Category Buyer for our Women’s Mainstream department. Based in our Sydney office located in The Rocks, this mid-level position plays an important role within Australia and New Zealand’s leading fashion e-commerce and lifestyle destination. Since 2011, we have continuously redefined the future of retail by delivering an inspiring and seamless end-to-end customer experience powered by our innovative technology platforms.
In this dynamic buying role, you will be responsible for curating and managing product selections that resonate with our diverse customer base. You will work collaboratively across internal teams to drive category performance, identify emerging trends, and build strong supplier relationships that align with our commercial strategy.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Developing and executing seasonal buying strategies for the Women’s Mainstream category to maximize sales and profitability.
- Sourcing, negotiating, and maintaining partnerships with relevant brands and suppliers.
- Analyzing sales data, inventory levels, and market trends to inform future product assortment and purchasing decisions.
- Collaborating closely with marketing, visual merchandising, and planning teams to ensure cohesive product presentation online.
- Managing the product lifecycle from initial selection through to delivery and performance review.
