Blackwoods is currently seeking a safety-conscious and organised Storeperson to join our enthusiastic Distribution Centre team on a full-time basis in Mackay, QLD.
In this role, you will play an essential part in our daily warehouse operations, helping to ensure that our distribution processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. This is a junior-level opportunity, and comprehensive training will be provided to help you succeed and grow within the team.
Key responsibilities and duties in this role typically include:
- Receiving, checking, and processing incoming stock and deliveries.
- Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operating material handling equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Meeting operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and productivity targets.
- Communicating effectively with team members and escalating any safety or operational concerns to relevant stakeholders.
