Perth Airport is currently seeking a Security Operations Specialist to join our dedicated team based in Cloverdale, within the Belmont area. As Australia’s Western Hub, Perth Airport connects the people, businesses, and communities of Western Australia with the rest of the country and the global stage. Operating continuously, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the airport plays a vital and dynamic role in providing economic, social, and cultural value to the region.
In this mid-level Security Operations Specialist position, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the safety, security, and smooth operational flow of our aviation environment. You will work collaboratively within a team dedicated to upholding high safety standards and regulatory compliance across airport facilities.
Key responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Monitoring and responding to security operations protocols and procedures to ensure a safe environment for passengers, staff, and visitors.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, including law enforcement and regulatory bodies, to address security incidents.
- Conducting routine patrols, inspections, and monitoring of airport security systems and infrastructure.
- Assisting with the implementation and review of operational safety and security policies.
- Maintaining accurate records, incident reports, and documentation in accordance with aviation standards.
We are looking for a professional with a strong background in security operations, ideally within a complex operational environment or the aviation sector. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to remain calm and decisive during high-pressure situations.
