Estia Investments is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Worker to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Personal Care Worker, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. You will work collaboratively within a supportive team environment to ensure the comfort, dignity, and wellbeing of those we support each day. Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Assisting residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
- Supporting residents with mobility and transfer needs in accordance with individual care plans.
- Assisting with meal service and supporting residents who require help with eating and drinking.
- Monitoring resident health and wellbeing, and reporting any changes or concerns to nursing staff promptly.
- Engaging residents in meaningful social, recreational, and lifestyle activities to promote connection and vitality.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
