We are currently seeking a skilled, passionate, and dedicated Back of House Manager to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis, located in the historic area of The Rocks, Sydney. In this essential role, you will play a key part in ensuring our live performances and events run seamlessly behind the scenes, supporting artists, crew, and venue operations to deliver exceptional entertainment.
Key responsibilities for this position typically include:
- Overseeing back of house operations during live performances, events, and festivals to ensure a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment.
- Managing backstage logistics, artist dressing rooms, and green room facilities to high standards of presentation and functionality.
- Liaising closely with tour managers, production crews, technical staff, and venue management to coordinate event schedules and requirements.
- Supervising back of house support staff and ensuring adherence to venue policies, safety regulations, and operational protocols.
- Troubleshooting day-to-day operational challenges promptly and professionally as they arise during live event execution.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced live entertainment environment, and a passion for the performing arts. Experience in venue operations, stage management, or event production is highly regarded.
