Sysco is seeking a dedicated and reliable professional for a full-time CDL A Delivery Driver position with SYGMA, based out of Danville, IL and serving the Metcalf and Edgar County areas. As a CDL A Delivery Driver, your primary responsibility will be transporting and delivering products accurately and timely to designated customer locations. You will manage pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain compliance with all federal and state Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and ensure that all freight is safely secured and offloaded according to company standards.
Key responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Safely operating a commercial motor vehicle in various traffic and weather conditions.
- Performing thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
- Interacting professionally with customers upon delivery and resolving any on-site delivery issues.
- Maintaining accurate logs, paperwork, and electronic records in accordance with company policy and DOT guidelines.
- Adhering strictly to all safety protocols, company policies, and traffic laws.
The annual salary for this full-time position is established at $43,067. Depending on applicable qualifications, you may also be eligible to participate in the company’s incentive plan.
