Geisinger is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our OB/GYN outpatient clinic team in Wilkes Barre, Luzerne County. This is a full-time opportunity offering a salary of $32,256 per year. Additionally, Geisinger is proud to offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates joining our ambulatory care teams.
In this role, you will be part of a supportive, team-oriented healthcare environment that empowers LPNs to practice at the top of their license. Key responsibilities for the Clinic LPN typically include:
- Providing professional nursing care to patients within an outpatient OB/GYN clinic setting.
- Assisting physicians and healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Taking vital signs, documenting patient medical histories, and updating electronic health records accurately.
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered by the attending physician or provider.
- Preparing patients for examinations and educating them on care plans, preventive health, and provider instructions.
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary clinic staff to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality patient experiences.
