Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician within our SMR Division and be part of an exciting new era of mobile repair. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity based in Park, Banchory, offering you the chance to bring your automotive expertise directly to our customers.
In this dynamic mobile role, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs at customer locations. You will represent the RAC brand with professionalism, ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer service at all times while utilizing your diagnostic and mechanical skills.
We are offering a rewarding compensation package with a salary of £60,000 per year (reflecting on-target and earning potential as detailed in our competitive structure), working a standard 40-hour week. Core working hours are from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with a 1 in 4 Saturday rota to ensure flexibility and service coverage.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing routine vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs at mobile locations
- Accurately diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Managing your mobile workspace and inventory efficiently
- Communicating clearly and professionally with customers regarding repair work
- Adhering strictly to health, safety, and company guidelines
What we are looking for:
- Relevant mechanical qualifications and hands-on vehicle repair experience
- A full, valid UK driving licence
- Strong problem-solving abilities and technical diagnostic skills
- A customer-first attitude with the ability to work independently on the road
