We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Vehicle Technician to join the RAC in our SMR Division for the Luton area, operating out of St. Ippolyts, Hitchin. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new era of mobile repair, delivering top-quality service directly to our customers.
In this full-time mobile role, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs efficiently and to the highest standards while traveling to different locations. You will manage your mobile workload independently, ensuring accurate diagnostics and professional customer communication at all times.
Key details of the position include:
- Competitive base salary of £45,378, with realistic on-target earnings of up to £57,000 per year
- Guaranteed overtime option available to increase your base salary, alongside additional overtime and bonus opportunities
- Standard working week of 40 hours, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
- Working pattern includes 1 in 4 Saturdays
To thrive in this role, you should possess relevant mechanical qualifications or equivalent hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and servicing. A valid UK driving licence is essential for this mobile position, along with a strong customer-focused approach and the ability to work autonomously on the road.
