Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician within our SMR Division and be part of an exciting new era of mobile repair. We are currently looking for a dedicated professional to cover the Easton Neston and Towcester areas on a full-time basis, delivering high-quality automotive maintenance and servicing directly to our customers.
In this role, you will enjoy a competitive earning potential with on-target earnings of up to £52,000 per year, backed by a strong foundation that includes a guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary, as well as additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
Your responsibilities will typically involve:
- Traveling to customer locations to carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs (SMR) to the highest standards.
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults efficiently and accurately.
- Managing your mobile workspace and inventory to ensure first-time fix rates.
- Providing exceptional customer service and clear communication regarding repair work needed.
- Adhering strictly to health, safety, and company guidelines while on the road and at customer locations.
Position details and working arrangements:
- Employment type: Full-time
- Hours: 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
- Rota: 1 in 4 Saturdays required
- Location: Easton Neston, Towcester
