At RAC, we appreciate the dedication of our colleagues who go the extra mile for our customers. We are currently seeking a Roadside Rescue Mechanic for a full-time position based in Robin Hood, Wakefield, operating within our Leeds cluster.
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for providing critical roadside assistance and mechanical repairs to motorists in need. You will work locally across surrounding areas, helping to get our members safely back on the move.
Key responsibilities and details of the role include:
- Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle faults at the roadside using your technical expertise and diagnostic equipment.
- Delivering exceptional customer service to distressed motorists, offering reassurance and clear communication.
- Working efficiently to ensure prompt call-out attendance and high first-time fix rates.
- Starting and finishing your workday directly from home for local convenience.
- Collaborating effectively as part of the broader Leeds cluster team, covering locations such as Leeds, Wakefield, Castleford, Pontefract, Dewsbury, Batley, Morley, Pudsey, Otley, and Garforth.
We offer a robust compensation package for this full-time opportunity, featuring a salary of £60,000 per year. (Note: standard base compensation structures may include night allowances and variable OTE components depending on performance and shift patterns).
