AGA is currently seeking a dedicated 3rd or 4th year electrical apprentice to join our team on a full-time basis in Dandenong East, Greater Dandenong. This is an exciting, hands-on, workshop-based opportunity tailored for an apprentice who enjoys practical electrical work and is eager to expand their industry experience in a specialized environment.
Unlike traditional site-based electrical roles, this position has a strong focus on controls and panel work. It is an ideal environment to gain deep exposure to industrial electrical systems, allowing you to build upon the foundational skills you have already developed during your apprenticeship.
Key responsibilities and learning areas in this role include:
- Working directly with industrial control panels and control wiring
- Conducting routine electrical testing and diagnostics
- Performing practical fault finding and troubleshooting
- Executing various workshop-based electrical tasks under guidance
To be successful in this role, you should be currently progressing through your 3rd or 4th year of an electrical apprenticeship and possess a genuine interest in industrial controls, automation, and panel building. You will need a strong work ethic, a commitment to workplace safety, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
