Advara HeartCare is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional for a full-time Lead Specialist Cardiac Physiologist position located in the Adelaide CBD. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading specialist cardiology environment and contribute to the ongoing delivery of exceptional patient care while helping to drive service development.
In this pivotal role, you will combine your advanced clinical expertise in cardiac diagnostics with leadership responsibilities. You will work closely with a capable, collaborative team of healthcare professionals to ensure high standards of clinical practice, patient safety, and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities for this position typically include:
- Performing and reporting on a range of advanced cardiac diagnostic procedures and adult echocardiography
- Providing supportive leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the clinical team
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and service development projects
- Maintaining high standards of clinical documentation, equipment maintenance, and patient care
- Collaborating effectively with cardiologists, administrative staff, and wider multidisciplinary teams
To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong background in cardiac physiology or sonography, along with demonstrated capability or interest in clinical leadership.
