In this role, you will be part of the Department of Anesthesiology at the Yale University School of Medicine, which is recruiting full-time, fellow-trained Pediatric Anesthesiologists at the Assistant and Associate Professor rank. The Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology provides comprehensive, specialized care for over 8,500 children across a wide variety of advanced clinical settings.
Key responsibilities and clinical environments for this position include:
- Delivering expert anesthetic care within dedicated Children’s Hospital operating rooms
- Providing sedation and anesthesia support for diagnostic and therapeutic imaging, including MRI and CT scans
- Supporting specialized procedures in interventional cardiology and interventional radiology
- Assisting patients and care teams in radiation oncology and other pediatric care areas
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary medical teams to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence
Candidates must possess the appropriate medical degrees, specialized fellowship training in pediatric anesthesiology, and the necessary licensure to practice. This position offers a competitive compensation structure of $46,630 per year, aligning with the scope and requirements of the role.
