We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team at Riseley Green School, located in Riseley, Reading, Berkshire. This is a permanent, term-time-only position offering a competitive salary of up to £42,000 per year, depending on experience (not pro rata). The working hours are 37.5 per week, scheduled Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a planned start date of September 2026.
As an SEN Teacher at Riseley Green School, your day-to-day duties and core responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the individual special educational needs of your students
- Fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement
- Tracking, assessing, and recording student academic and personal progress
- Collaborating closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure positive student outcomes
- Adapting teaching methods and instructional materials to meet diverse learning styles and requirements
