Network Plus is currently seeking a dedicated Utility Arboriculture Surveyor to join our arboriculture and infrastructure vegetation management division in Englefield, Reading. In this role, you will be part of a team with an excellent reputation for the safe and efficient delivery of critical infrastructure services.
As a Utility Surveyor, you will use your technical expertise and arboricultural knowledge to deliver a first-class service to our customers while ensuring that safety remains paramount at all times. Your day-to-day responsibilities will focus on identifying, evaluating, and quantifying the work required to maintain contract specification safety clearances from overhead electrical networks.
Key responsibilities in this role include:
- Conducting detailed surveys of vegetation and trees in proximity to overhead electrical networks.
- Assessing and quantifying necessary vegetation management work to ensure compliance with strict safety clearances and contract specifications.
- Communicating effectively with landowners, clients, and internal operational teams to coordinate required works.
- Maintaining accurate records of all survey findings and work recommendations using company systems.
- Prioritizing safety in all activities, adhering strictly to industry standards, environmental guidelines, and company safety protocols.
This is a permanent position offering a salary of £38,000 per year. You will be working within a supportive environment that values technical proficiency, reliability, and a strong commitment to safe working practices.
