Right now, we are looking for a Volunteering and Befriending Coordinator to play a pivotal role in our Complex Needs Service in Notting Hill.
As our Volunteer and Befriending Coordinator, based in London, UK, you will receive a salary of £29,097 per year. You will take responsibility for developing and coordinating a volunteer befriending service that directly supports our clients and enhances their journey toward independence and community integration.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will typically involve:
- Developing, promoting, and coordinating volunteer and befriending opportunities within the Complex Needs Service.
- Recruiting, interviewing, screening, and onboarding volunteers in alignment with organizational policies and safeguarding standards.
- Matching volunteers with appropriate clients and ensuring comprehensive support, supervision, and guidance are provided throughout their journey.
- Designing and delivering relevant training sessions to equip volunteers with the skills and confidence needed for their roles.
- Building positive relationships with internal teams, external community groups, and stakeholders to raise awareness of the service.
- Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on the impact of the volunteer and befriending program to ensure high standards of service delivery.
