The salary for this position is $67,177 per year, operating on a convenient shift schedule from Saturday through Monday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
In this role, working under the direction of the Radiologist, you will play a vital part in patient care by performing all computerized tomography scans on various portions of the body to assist the medical team with accurate diagnoses. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and patient-centered approach will help ensure high-quality imaging services are delivered safely and efficiently in our emergency setting.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Operating CT scanning equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes.
- Explaining scanning procedures to patients, addressing their questions or concerns, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Positioning patients correctly and ensuring proper shielding and safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Collaborating closely with radiologists, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to review scans and ensure diagnostic quality.
- Maintaining equipment, monitoring inventory of necessary supplies, and adhering to all regulatory compliance and safety standards.
