Amazon TA is seeking a full-time Construction Cost Engineer to join our EMEA Construction Cost Control team, based in Charing Cross, Central London, with an annual salary of £50,740. As part of our Data Center Construction Cost Control group, you will work within a highly creative and driven team dedicated to deploying continuously evolving Amazon data center facilities.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential cost support, guidance, and recommendations to the project delivery team. Your expertise will ensure effective cost management and rigorous analysis across a dynamic portfolio of fast-paced construction projects.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Managing and monitoring project budgets across the full life cycle of construction projects
- Providing cost analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to deliver projects efficiently
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities and providing guidance on financial risks and mitigation strategies
- Maintaining accurate financial records and participating in tender reviews and contract administration
