We are currently seeking a dedicated Class 1 Tramper to join our team on a full-time basis, operating out of the Haugh, Inverness area. This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from £35,638 to £40,643, working a Monday to Friday schedule.
If you hold a valid UK Class 1 CE Licence, we want to hear from you. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting bulk loads using either curtain side or flatbed trailers, with duties including the delivery and collection of various materials such as scrap metals.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Ensuring all goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage during transit
- Utilising straps, nets, and other required securing devices in accordance with safety standards
- Performing comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using the provided company phone to maintain high operational standards
- Completing scheduled routes efficiently while adhering to all driving regulations and company policies
- Communicating effectively with the transport team and customers regarding delivery updates
