This is a full-time opportunity offering a salary of £46,285 per year, with potential total package earnings and bonus structures as indicated. Working in our children’s homes means being an integral part of a young person’s day-to-day life, supporting them through both their highest highs and lowest lows. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the home environment successfully nurtures these young individuals, while maintaining a secure, safe, and motivating atmosphere for both the residents and your staff team. While there will certainly be challenges along the way, you will also share in those huge, small victories that define this meaningful work.
Key responsibilities in this leadership role typically include:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the children’s home to ensure the highest standards of care and safeguarding.
- Leading, mentoring, and motivating a dedicated team of care staff to foster a positive and collaborative work culture.
- Ensuring full compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks, policies, and quality standards for children’s residential services.
- Creating a safe, secure, and homely environment where young people feel valued, supported, and encouraged to achieve their potential.
- Collaborating effectively with external agencies, families, and professionals to secure the best possible outcomes for each young person.
- Monitoring the home’s resources and administration to maintain operational efficiency and high standards of safety.
