We are currently seeking a skilled Mobile Mechanic to join the RAC in Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity working within our SMR (Service, Maintenance & Repair) Division, representing an exciting new era of mobile repair. Please note that this role focuses on scheduled service, maintenance, and repair rather than traditional roadside rescue.
In this role, you will be responsible for traveling to customers and locations to carry out essential vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repairs efficiently and to the highest professional standards. You will manage your mobile workload effectively, diagnosing faults and ensuring vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
Key details of the position include:
- Competitive base salary with on-target earnings of up to £52,000 per year
- Guaranteed overtime options to increase your earnings, alongside additional overtime and bonus opportunities
- Working week of 40 hours, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
- Standard rota requirement of 1 in 4 Saturdays
