Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen is currently seeking an energetic and dedicated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team at our Nowra location in Bomaderry. At Guzman y Gomez, our mission has always been to reinvent fast-food. We are looking for a passionate individual at a junior to mid-level seniority who shares our vision and wants to grow their career in hospitality leadership.

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, inspire team members, and deliver exceptional dining experiences to every guest who walks through our doors. This role is fast-paced, hands-on, and central to maintaining our high standards of food quality, customer service, and team culture.

Key responsibilities in this role typically include:

Assisting the Restaurant Manager with day-to-day restaurant operations and ensuring smooth service shifts.
Training, mentoring, and motivating team members to uphold brand standards and deliver friendly, efficient customer service.
Maintaining strict food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards in compliance with company policies.
Helping to manage inventory, stock control, and ordering procedures.
Supporting administrative duties such as rostering, cost control, and meeting performance targets.
Resolving customer inquiries and ensuring every guest leaves with a positive impression of the Guzman y Gomez experience.
