Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Receiving, unpacking, and checking incoming stock and deliveries against purchase orders.
- Safely moving, organizing, and storing goods within the warehouse facility using appropriate equipment.
- Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders and store transfers accurately and efficiently.
- Assisting with regular stocktakes and inventory control to maintain accurate records.
- Loading and unloading trucks and delivery vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment in compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
