HealthcareLink Support is currently seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join a dynamic allied health clinic located in the Melbourne CBD and Footscray areas. This exciting opportunity is available on a part-time basis, offering flexibility to suit your schedule while delivering essential assessment and intervention services to a diverse paediatric caseload.
In this clinic-based role, you will work closely with young clients and their families to provide tailored, holistic therapy. The clinic places a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice, functional therapy, and collaborative peer-learning to ensure every clinician feels supported in their professional journey.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Conducting thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for paediatric clients
- Developing and implementing individualised, goal-directed intervention plans
- Employing functional and evidence-based therapy techniques to support client progress
- Collaborating closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and progress notes in a timely manner
- Participating in regular peer-learning sessions and professional development opportunities
To be successful in this role, you will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and be eligible for practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia. A genuine passion for paediatric care and a commitment to delivering client-centred, holistic services are essential.
