Hannan Tew Lawyers is seeking a dedicated Lawyer specializing in Immigration Law to join our Perth CBD team on a part-time basis. This role is ideally suited for a legal professional with 1 to 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) who is eager to build a meaningful career in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.
As part of our boutique, NewLaw Australian immigration law firm, you will have the opportunity to work across all areas of Australian immigration law. Our clientele is diverse, ranging from individual asylum seekers to major global organizations, ensuring a wide-ranging and engaging casework portfolio.

Key responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Managing a varied caseload of Australian immigration matters under appropriate supervision.
- Providing clear, accurate, and client-centric legal advice to individuals and corporate clients.
- Preparing, reviewing, and lodging visa applications, appeals, and related legal documentation.
- Conducting legal research and staying up-to-date with changes in Australian immigration policy, legislation, and procedures.
- Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and relevant government departments in a professional and timely manner.
To be successful in this role, you will bring your foundational legal training, a strong academic record, and a genuine enthusiasm for immigration law. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with a meticulous attention to detail, will enable you to manage client expectations and deliver high-quality solutions.
