As a Carer in our residence, you will play an essential role in providing person-centred care that reflects our commitment to affordable luxury and excellence in lifestyle support. Your day-to-day duties will naturally involve assisting residents with their daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety at all times, and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary care team to foster a warm and welcoming home environment.
The salary for this part-time position ranges from A$74,880 to A$93,600 per year, commensurate with your skills and background. To thrive in this role, candidates should possess a genuine passion for aged care and a strong alignment with our organizational values.
Key responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Providing compassionate, high-quality daily care and personal assistance to elderly residents
- Supporting residents with mobility, personal hygiene, and daily routines while promoting independence
- Observing and reporting any changes in resident health, wellbeing, or behavior to nursing staff
- Contributing to a positive, respectful, and engaging community atmosphere
- Communicating effectively and empathetically with residents, families, and team members
