As a Senior Project Engineer at QNY Projects, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and overseeing our $50M luxury residential developments from concept to completion. You will work closely with our Project Managers, design teams, and construction crews to ensure each project meets our exacting standards for quality, sustainability, and aesthetic excellence. This is an immediate part-time opportunity for a seasoned professional ready to contribute to some of the Gold Coast’s most anticipated developments.
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of project delivery for high-end residential developments, ensuring alignment with client expectations, regulatory requirements, and QNY’s vision.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent projects.
- Oversee the technical design and construction phases, ensuring compliance with building codes, environmental standards, and safety protocols.
- Act as a key liaison between stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and local authorities, to facilitate seamless communication and decision-making.
- Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, progress reports, and performance metrics to support strategic planning and quality assurance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation to enhance efficiency and value in every development.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.
The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with extensive experience in the residential construction industry, ideally with a strong background in luxury or high-value developments. You will hold a relevant engineering degree and possess current accreditation as a Chartered Engineer or equivalent. Proficiency in project management tools, construction documentation, and cost control is essential. You are a natural leader with excellent communication skills, capable of managing complex projects while maintaining attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
