Airwallex is looking for a Senior/Staff Network Engineer to join our team based in The Rocks, Sydney. In this senior engineering role, you will play a crucial part in designing, maintaining, and scaling the robust network infrastructure that supports our fast-growing global platform. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure high availability, security, and performance across all network operations.
Key responsibilities for this position typically include:
- Designing, implementing, and managing scalable and secure enterprise network architectures.
- Collaborating with engineering and security teams to troubleshoot complex network issues and optimize performance.
- Automating network provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance tasks to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensuring network infrastructure aligns with industry best practices, compliance standards, and internal security policies.
- Participating in capacity planning and defining the roadmap for future network growth.
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical documentation and standards within the team.
