ETHIKA is partnering with a prominent European industrial group, recognized as a leader in its sector with a highly attractive portfolio of products and services, to recruit an experienced Industrial Group Buyer (Acheteur industriel groupe) for a permanent contract (CDI). Based at the company’s corporate headquarters in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, this role is a key part of an ongoing strategy to enhance global procurement performance across the headquarters and various subsidiaries.
Reporting directly to the Group Purchasing Director, you will play a major role in optimizing sourcing strategies and streamlining purchasing processes for the entire organization. Your expertise will directly contribute to strengthening supplier relationships, securing advantageous terms, and aligning procurement operations with the broader strategic goals of this major European group.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Developing and executing comprehensive category strategies and sourcing plans across the group
- Identifying, evaluating, and selecting reliable suppliers to support industrial operations
- Managing supplier negotiations regarding pricing, quality, delivery terms, and contractual agreements
- Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and subsidiaries to understand procurement needs and ensure alignment
- Monitoring market trends, conducting cost analyses, and identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction
- Tracking supplier performance metrics and implementing corrective actions when necessary
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
