Outcomes First Group is looking for an English Teacher with Middle Leadership Responsibilities to join Dibden Park School in Southampton. This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months, working term time only, with hours of 40 per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 4:30pm. The salary is £45,000 per annum (not pro rata).

As an English Teacher with Middle Leadership Responsibilities, you will be expected to:
- Deliver engaging and effective English lessons across the relevant key stages, inspiring students to achieve their best.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the English curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of all learners.
- Take on middle leadership duties, which may include mentoring and supporting colleagues, contributing to departmental planning, and helping to drive standards.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and interventions to support attainment.
- Collaborate with the wider school team to promote a positive learning culture and uphold the school’s ethos and values.
The ideal candidate will be a passionate and ambitious teacher with a genuine commitment to student success. You should have strong communication skills, the ability to inspire and motivate learners, and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues. A willingness to take on leadership opportunities and contribute to whole-school initiatives is essential.
