Ausdocs GP Consulting is seeking a dedicated and qualified VR General Practitioner to join the team at Clifton Beach Medical & Surgical in Cairns. This full-time opportunity has become available due to ongoing practice growth and a recent departure within the team, making it an ideal time for an experienced practitioner to step into a well-established patient base.
Operating as a private billing clinic, this position offers attractive financial incentives designed to support a smooth transition. You will benefit from a competitive 35% service fee structure (allowing you to retain 65% of billings), along with a guaranteed hourly rate for the first 3 months of your employment. To further assist with your move, the clinic is offering a relocation or sign-on incentive, as well as added incentives for anyone interested in consulting further.
As part of this role, you will be supported by highly experienced administrative and nursing support teams, ensuring you can focus entirely on delivering high-quality patient care. The practice is fully equipped to handle a wide range of general practice and surgical services in a vibrant coastal location.
Key responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Providing comprehensive, patient-centred medical care and consultations
- Diagnosing, treating, and managing a diverse range of acute and chronic health conditions
- Performing preventative health assessments and developing ongoing management plans
- Ordering appropriate diagnostic tests and interpreting results accurately
- Maintaining thorough and confidential patient medical records
