In this dynamic float pool role, you will provide specialized nursing care across various units within Women’s Services, supporting patients and clinical teams where the need is greatest. You will utilize your clinical expertise to assess patient needs, administer treatments, monitor recovery, and collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained.
Key responsibilities for this position typically include:
- Delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients within Women’s Services in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Monitoring patient vitals and clinical status, recognizing changes, and taking prompt, appropriate action.
- Educating patients and their families regarding health management, recovery, and post-discharge care.
- Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records for all patient interactions and treatments.
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to foster a supportive and efficient healing environment.
The annual salary for this position is $52,545. Candidates must possess the appropriate registered nursing credentials and licensure required to practice in the state, along with relevant clinical experience in women’s health or acute care settings as applicable to the float pool environment.
