As a Registered Nurse within our cardiovascular intensive care unit, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with professional standards and facility protocols. Key responsibilities for the CVICU Nurse include:
- Delivering comprehensive, specialized nursing care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions in an intensive care setting.
- Monitoring patient status closely, responding promptly to critical changes, and administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborating closely with physicians, direct managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to plan and evaluate patient care.
- Participating in hospital councils, nursing initiatives, and quality improvement projects to help influence and shape patient care practices.
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Providing compassionate support and education to patients and their families throughout their recovery journey.
The compensation for this position is $34,628 per year.
