Skilled Medical UK is seeking an adventurous and dedicated General Practitioner for a unique full-time role located on a small island in the Eastern South Pacific Ocean, close to the Gambier Islands of French Polynesia.

In this position, you will serve as the sole GP providing essential healthcare services to the island and its 45 permanent residents. You will manage everyday general sickness and illness while also maintaining the clinical confidence required to handle medical emergencies independently in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities and expectations for the role include:
- Delivering primary healthcare and general medical consultations to the local island community.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for daily health concerns, routine illnesses, and wellness needs.
- Assessing, stabilizing, and managing urgent medical situations and emergencies autonomously.
- Collaborating with remote support networks and medical evacuation services when higher-level care is required.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and managing community health supplies on-site.
