DP World is seeking a Global Assistant Manager – Economic Sanctions & Trade Compliance to join the team in São Paulo, Estado de São Paulo. In this important role, you will help support the DP World Global Sanctions Programme within our expanding freight forwarding and logistics operations, playing a key part in maintaining our commitment to regulatory excellence and ethical business practices.

As a member of the Sanctions Compliance team, your primary focus will be on evaluating international cross-border transactions and vetting third-party relationships. You will work closely with operational teams to ensure that all activities strictly adhere to applicable laws and regulations concerning economic sanctions and trade compliance, such as export controls, across our global freight forwarding and logistics network.

Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:

Conducting detailed compliance assessments for cross-border shipments and transactions.
Reviewing and evaluating third-party business partners, vendors, and clients against relevant sanctions lists and regulatory databases.
Collaborating with regional and global stakeholders to resolve compliance flags and provide guidance on trade regulations.
Assisting in the implementation and monitoring of internal policies, procedures, and controls related to the Global Sanctions Programme.
Keeping informed of evolving economic sanctions and trade compliance developments affecting the logistics and freight forwarding sector.
