As a Registered Nurse in the PeriOp 101 program, you will participate in a comprehensive training experience designed to prepare you for the demands of the operating room environment. Under the guidance of experienced perioperative nurses, you will learn essential skills in patient safety, surgical procedures, equipment management, and infection control. The program follows AORN standards and supports your professional growth through mentorship and ongoing education.
In this role, you will assist in delivering high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective outcomes. Responsibilities may include patient assessment, preparing the operating room, managing sterile instruments, and supporting post-anesthesia recovery. You will be expected to uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence while contributing to a compassionate and efficient care environment.
