BJC Healthcare is seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to join our dynamic CT team at Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital in Westwood, Saint Louis County. In this role, everyone has a part to play in providing extraordinary care to our patients, and we are proud to offer a newly approved increased compensation package with a salary of $82,750 per year for this position. Additionally, a sign-on bonus of $5,000 is available for eligible applicants.
As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients’ bodies for diagnostic purposes. Your day-to-day duties will involve preparing patients for procedures, explaining imaging processes, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate imaging results. You will also maintain equipment, manage patient records, and uphold standard clinical protocols and safety guidelines.
This position features a stable schedule consisting of 10-hour shifts, four days per week, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To support departmental needs, a call rotation is required approximately every 8th week, along with a holiday rotation of one to two holidays per year. Candidates should also be willing to cross-train or cross-function as needed within the department.
