Advanced Micro Devices (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Wafer Sort Test Equipment Engineer to join our team in Singapore. In this critical role, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end wafer sort test solutions designed for next-generation processors. Our technology powers high-performance computing, data center, and enterprise applications, requiring precision and innovation at every stage of development.
As a key member of the engineering team, you will own the sort hardware lifecycle, managing processes from initial development through to successful bring-up. Your primary focus will be ensuring that all hardware solutions meet stringent quality and yield targets essential for high-volume manufacturing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate complex test methodologies into scalable production environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing robust wafer sort test equipment solutions for advanced processor architectures.
- Managing the full hardware development lifecycle, including prototyping, testing, and implementation.
- Overseeing hardware bring-up activities to ensure seamless integration into production flows.
- Collaborating with design and product teams to optimize hardware for maximum yield and performance.
- Troubleshooting complex hardware issues to maintain high standards of quality and reliability.
- Ensuring all test equipment meets the specific requirements for high-performance computing and enterprise applications.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Automated Test Equipment (ATE) hardware development. Proven experience with Advantest 93K platforms is highly preferred. We are looking for an engineer with excellent communication skills who can effectively collaborate with global teams and navigate complex technical environments to deliver industry-leading test solutions.
