We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Freight Operator to join our high-performing team at our Mount Maunganui branch on a full-time basis. Please note that this is an afternoon shift position, operating from Monday to Friday between the hours of 4.00pm and 12.30am.
As a Freight Operator, your day-to-day responsibilities will typically involve:
- Handling, sorting, and processing freight efficiently and accurately within the branch
- Loading and unloading freight safely and in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Operating equipment as required to move goods around the facility
- Collaborating closely with team members and drivers to ensure smooth workflow and on-time dispatches
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment adhering to health and safety guidelines
To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong work ethic, a commitment to workplace safety, and a collaborative team-first attitude. You should be comfortable with physical tasks involved in freight handling and reliable in meeting shift commitments.
