Ascension is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse for a full-time Medical Telemetry position located in the Port of Catoosa area within Rogers County. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care within our medical-surgical and telemetry units, ensuring that patients receive attentive, clinical excellence during their hospital stay.
This is a full-time, night shift opportunity based out of Ascension St. John Medical Center. Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms and vital signs of patients on telemetry units and reporting any significant changes promptly to the medical team.
- Administering medications, treatments, and intravenous fluids in accordance with physician orders and established nursing standards.
- Assessing patient conditions, developing individualized care plans, and documenting clinical notes accurately in the electronic health record system.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, including physicians, physical therapists, and support staff, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Educating patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and discharge instructions to ensure a smooth transition home.
