Targeted Provision Ltd is seeking dedicated professionals for SEN / SEND Tutor positions based in Caversham, Reading, serving the broader Berkshire area. This is a part-time opportunity offering a competitive salary range of £58,240 to £72,800 per year (calculated on a full-time equivalent or prorated basis depending on hours worked). In this role, you will work directly with schools and local authorities to support students with special educational needs and disabilities. We aim to match you with tutoring opportunities located within a 45-minute drive of the advertised location or your provided postcode, ensuring a manageable travel radius for your assignments.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Delivering tailored educational support sessions for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEN / SEND).
- Adapting teaching methods and lesson plans to suit individual student learning requirements and abilities.
- Collaborating with schools, local authorities, and educational stakeholders to support student progress.
- Monitoring, assessing, and recording student development and engagement during tutoring sessions.
- Maintaining professional standards and fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment.
